How did I miss this phenomenon?
I find the guy in the armchair most disturbing
and, well, the campfire and sporting event as well.

i notice they don't mention that major draft up one's hindsection?
i think they look like choir members with nowhere to sing...
agreed!
I've seen the commercial umpteen times while being home. Total cult costume! Guess who told me about them first... on the phone, for waaaaaaay longer than it should take to explain them (I couldn't get it). Yup. Toni wants one! I can't stand the word "snuggie." It's on the list.
however, you can also use this garment for a priest outfit at halloween. the sports event part of the commercial is the most disturbing.
oh my goodness! my sisters and i have a on-going joke about these!!!
I ordered two of these for our white elephant gift exchanges this Christmas.
They are on backorder for 3-4 months.
What does that mean? Jarrod and Taryn will have matching Snuggies. We will now be able to answer our phone without getting stuck in our blankets.
Matt and I love the Snuggie commercial (in a joking way). We talk about Snuggies almost every night, how we would use one, how we wish we had one, etc. Our favorite part of the commercial is at the family reunion when they're all wearing Snuggies on the park benches and they all wave in a group shot.
SNUGGIE!
I wonder if anyone ever thinks of the static nightmare these would be. Rather than coming with the book light as an extra, each snuggie should be equipped with one that runs off static electricity. I wouldn't answer the phone in a snuggie unless you want to shock your ear off. Have these people ever worn fleece?
Good point Kim!
Snuggie comment update: Last night in bed I put my arm against Matt's back and apparently it was cold and it woke him up and he said, in a dreamy-sleepy-voice, "your arm needs a Snuggie" then he fell right back to sleep!!
